2015 Season - Week 24 (Cont)

All-Time Leading Points Scorer

Johnnie continues to lead the All-Time Leading Points Scorer (Regular Season only) having now amassed 10,168 regular season points. He has averaged less than half a point per week more than second placed Chief, but over our 21 year history that becomes a lead of 148 points. The first change in the rankings occurs in 9th place where Marcus moves past John. On average Johnnie has 484.2 points per regular season, while Chief (477.1) moves back ahead of Craig (469.1) returning to the second spot, having lost that place to him last year. Wayne remains fourth averaging 454.2 points per regular season and Ron fifth with 449.6 points. There is no change in the top 17 positions in the Official All-Time Leading Points scorer with Chief remaining top and Johnnie second, both have now scored over 11,000 points. On average Chief has scored 544.8pts per season, with Johnnie returning to second (533.0) passed Craig who drops to fourth (500.4) as he is also passed by Wayne on 512.0. Chief remains the highest play-off scorer with 1,421 post season points while Mark returns to second (1,208) with Daz dropping to third on 1,162. Marcus climbs to fourth on 1,046 dropping Johnnie to fifth on 1,026 with David Stamp only two points behind. BUMS Medals Table As we move into another Olympic year here’s the updated medal count. Remember you get a Gold for winning the Papas Fritas Trophy, Silver for runner-up and Bronze for a third place finish, these gongs only go to those playing in the highest league in Fantasy Football. So congrats to Ron who wins his first gold medal to go with a bronze he picked up in 2007. Johnnie’s 2015 bronze sees him lead the medals count with 4 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze and has medaled in 13 of the 21 year history of the BUMS. Meanwhile “often the bridesmaid, occasionally the bride” (as I believe the saying doesn’t go) Chief was runner-up again (for the fifth time in the last eight years) leaving his tally as 3 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze. Will you be in the medals at the end of 2016? Hello and Goodbye At the end of season dinner last Monday the seven BUMS present included Alex, our newcomer, who we found out is not only a Patriot fan but a Spurs fan as well, who let him in? And we bid farewell to John who goes out as the BUMSBowl champion. Thanks for 20 years of inspired contributions and Bargaineer successes my friend. Early Diary Date Due to the aforementioned Olympics and Chief & Mrs Chief being in South America until the end of August the 2016 BUMS Player Selection Meeting (or draft) will be at 4pm on Sunday 4th September at HQ, with the first game of the season four days later.
